SEO Optimisation to boost views

Trying a few techniques to see if there’s a difference for one of my first ever clients – Numanz Embroidery. I’m doing this free of charge, as a testing experiment in my backyard SEO Meth lab.

Numanz Embroidery are a menswear store that caters to the menswear, workwear, schoolwear and formal hire needs of the citizens of Echuca Moama. They are located in the centre of Echuca, my home town. View their website here: www.numanz.com.au

Oops already added a possible view boost there with that link (not with my traffic, but still).

Okay so here’s where we’re at:
analytics-before-1

So this site is pretty consistent, with some highs and lows when viewing monthly for the last two years.

What I’ve done to hopefully get more traffic is add Yoast SEO plugin and add some keywords for the home page and Suit Hire page.

I will keep this running for a week and then see if there’s a change.

After that I want to change the main navigation to be more visible and make the user want to click. Currently I think it is very boring and you hardly notice it:

One more change was made to the background as I noticed the background pattern that should have been visible was not coded correctly. Fixed that little problem – it may make a difference to UX as the site is easier on the eyes…

OLD vs NEW – what do you think?

Okay I’ll post the results in a week.
